Mesotherapy

WHAT IS MESOTHERAPY?

Mesotherapy is a minimally invasive, non-surgical cosmetic treatment that is widely used in Europe and elsewhere to treat various aesthetic face and body concerns. Micro injections deliver tiny therapeutic ‘bullets’ that contain beneficial vitamins, hyaluronic acid and other active ingredients directly into the middle layer of the skin, called the mesoderm.

MEDI-FACT:

French physician Dr. Michel Pistor pioneered Mesotherapy in 1952, naming the procedure after the Greek words mesos (middle) and therapeia (to treat medically).

HOW IT WORKS:

Based on your particular aesthetic needs or concerns, your doctor will combine different active medicinal ingredients in an appropriate dose to target a specific area or condition. Mesotherapy injections may contain various pharmaceutical and homeopathic medications, vitamins, plant extracts and hyaluronic acid. This natural substance in the body consists of tiny molecules of collagen that act as the skin’s building blocks to produce fullness and volume.

WHY IT CAN HELP YOU:

This technique uses multiple micro-injection sessions to directly target areas that need improvement most, resulting in a more youthful, glowing appearance.

Mesotherapy has been shown to improve tired and sun damaged skin by:

Producing immediate hydrating and regenerating effects
Significantly tightening and firming the skin
Improving skin smoothness
Increasing radiance and skin suppleness
Gradually diminishing wrinkles and fine lines.

RESULTS: WHAT TO EXPECT:

Mesotherapy offers immediate visible results, including a firmer, smoother and more radiant skin.
The treatment’s long term results will largely depend on the length of treatment and the active ingredients used.
For best results, we recommend four Mesotherapy treatment sessions spaced 15, 30 and 60 days apart.

KEY FEATURES AND BENEFITS:

Non-surgical, minimally invasive treatment
Virtually painless
No recovery downtime – people can resume their normal daily activities immediately
Immediately visible results
Minimal side effects

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

Mesotherapy may cause a little redness or swelling at the injection site, but this temporary side effect will disappear soon.
The best way to enhance your Mesotherapy results and avoid future skin damage is to adopt sensible sun safety habits. Protect yourself against harmful ultraviolet (UV) radiation by minimizing sun exposure, using a broad spectrum UVA/UVB sunscreen with an SPF of at least 30+ and avoiding tanning beds.
