Premature ejaculation is called when ejaculation occurs faster than desired and without the possibility of controlling it, often causing frustration for the patient and his partner. This pathology affects about a third of men.
Consultation with a urologist can determine whether premature ejaculation is primary (present from the start of active sex life) or secondary (occurring after a period of normal active sex life). The treatment consists of exercises and psychological support, whether or not accompanied by drug treatment.
